Program Description

If you're frustrated by the way aligned dimensions rotate when they are grip edited, but you find creating actual rotated dimensions too tedious, this command, DRO, removes some of the steps that make creating rotated dimensions so cumbersome.

Directions

  1. Unzip the downloaded file to a directory (aka folder) that is within AutoCAD's Support File Search Path.
  2. Load DRO.FAS using AutoCAD's APPLOAD command, the Startup Suite, or the command (load "DRO.FAS")
  3. From AutoCAD's command line, type DRO and follow the prompts.

  • AutoCAD 2000+

Known Issues

Cross space dimensioning is not supported at this time.
